Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship
​The Jimmy Rane Foundation was established with the purpose of sending deserving students to college. Since then, the Foundation has awarded 680 scholarships to well-deserving students. These hard-working and outstanding students have taken these scholarships all over the country.

Minimum 3.0 GPA for graduating high school senior.

Minimum 2.7 GPA for current college students(freshmen or sophomores only).

Be majoring, planning to declare a major, or pursuing an advanced degree in a communications-related field at a U.S. accredited college/university.

Communications-related fields include, but are not limited to, advertising, broadcasting, communications, digital media, English, film, journalism, marketing, public relations, or publishing.

Have an overall GPA of 3.2 (or 87%) or better.

Be available for a virtual interview with timing TBD.

If awarded, the scholarship funds must be used for the next academic year. We give the scholarship money directly to the school.

Membership is complimentary for Rising Stars, ages 18-26. Applicants age 18-26 must be NYWICI members, via the complimentary Rising Star membership. Membership is not required for applicants ages 27+. If you are not a member please join here.

The CREATIVE.INSPIRED.HAPPY Mid-Career Writing Scholarship
For an aspiring writer not currently in a professional writing career, for use toward furthering their education in writing, such as continuing education or community college courses on writing.
This scholarship is open to aspiring writers in any field, including fiction, poetry, and non-fiction.
